Place data © OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL. Every city, society and phase name on this site comes from OpenStreetMap, used under the Open Database Licence. That licence is what makes it legal for us to import them in bulk, and this credit is the condition it is granted on.

Geography

Pakistan is a big country and its neighbourhoods are not a list anybody owns. The names of its cities, societies, sectors and phases are public facts, and OpenStreetMap publishes them under a licence that permits bulk use by anyone willing to credit the people who mapped them. Thousands of volunteers walked, traced and corrected those names so that a portal like this one does not have to guess at them.

Everything imported lands as a candidate for review rather than as truth, so any mistake on this site is ours and not theirs. If a name is wrong here, tell us — and if it is wrong on the map, fixing it there helps everyone rather than only us.
